PostSubject: Thonrham Harbour in Norfolk   Fri Feb 01, 2013 10:31 pm

We ventured out at the weekend and took some shots at Thornham Harbour. Here are a couple of my favorites. Taken with my Canon.

Of the two I prefer the knot. In the first photograph I think the tree stump is too much in the foreground in the first photograph but that's only my opinion.

I like the 1st image it has more interest and maybe the tree does break the lower line of the image somewhat, but my eye was distracted by the red flash of colour on the small boat, I would have prefered the more muted colours of the sky and landscape without that minor distraction, but overall I liked it.

The images are completely different concepts. the first I feel the stump in the foreground is a little too close. It kind of gives the impression that it was "in the way"

Th knot photo I like a lot except for the rectangular object on the right. To those that weren't there it look like an abandoned window frame, though now I do see it is part of a boat. To me it spoils the balance.
