saw these fake windows on a wall in kings lynn near the docks and tried my best to make the whole picture to look like it was painted if you understand what i mean. processed with photomatix.

I love these Hdr images when turn out like this..Looks great fullsiize
.You`re right!!..it does make the whole image look like a art work , but more like a crayon drawing than a painting... Very Happy
All my processing is done with free programs as I am a cheapskate

I Like the HDR effect very much and it looks great in this context but i think the picture should be a bit more balanced. Maybe a bit more brickwork at either side or at least evenly spaced. (my opinion only) Is it faked HDR or did use the 3 exposures method? either way the effect you have achieved appeals to my eye.

It is faked HDR...tone mapped using Photomatix. I didn't have a tripod with me which was quite annoying.
I wanted people to ask themselves 'is this a photo or a painting' when they saw this. Or as Mikshep has suggested, a crayon drawing.

I wanted to get more wall in the picture, but I had my back to a parked car...I couldnt get further back lol

I may have to go back another day and get a real HDR image and see how it differs

I would say you achieved what you were after, it is very hard to distinguish between the cartoon windows and the actual brickwork. The old mingled bricks and the repaired wall certainly lends itself to an HDR image and you have taken advantage of that just about right in my opinion.
